Purpose - National Chaplains of the Philippines

OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES

To implement the Moral Recovery Program and Values Formation Program of the Philippine Government.
To pursue the Institutionalization of the Moral Recovery Program in every province, municipality/city and barangay in the nation per Executive Order 319.
To engage in the undertaking of obtaining a Republic Act for the Moral Recovery Program and so that the NCP will become a governmental agency, thereby assigning a chaplain in every department and agency of the Philippine government nationally and internationally.
To promote nation-building with good governance by encouraging every person in the Barangay to uphold the rules of law, ordinances and regulations, and impress upon them the spirit of love for country and the values enshrined in the Constitution.
To initiate and facilitate community-based chaplaincy in the barangays in coordination with the local government and its agencies to strengthen the people physically, mentally, morally, socially and spiritually.
To fortify good governance through values hour, leadership training and development, seminars, team-building and retreats at the barangay, municipal/city, and provincial levels of the local government units and other governmental agencies.
To ensure appropriation of funds for the Moral Recovery Program of every province, municipality/city, and barangay are disbursed and used in the right programs and activities.
To operate and conduct the affairs and activities of the organization in accordance with the laws and the Moral Recovery Program of the Philippine government.
